Main Convention Centers
The Music City Center
The Music City Center is located in the South of Broadway (SoBro) district. The 2,100,000 square foot facility opened in 2013. The facility is adjacent to the Bridgestone Arena and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame is in the lobby of the building.
Space
Features include a 350,000 square foot exhibit hall. The 57,500 square foot Grand Ballroom has a built in stage and two green rooms and is designed to make attendees feel as though they are inside an acoustic guitar. Sixty meeting rooms are available along with an 1,800 car enclosed garage.

Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center
Located in Boston's "Back Bay" the center is named for former Boston mayor John Hynes. The 1988 structure replaced a former convention center on the same location. The center offers views of the Charles River, Cambridge and Back Bay.
Space
The Convention Center at Gaylord Opryland has 109,465 square feet of ballroom space and 319,000 square feet of exhibit space. The center is divided into five areas: the Magnolia, Tennessee, Presidents, Governors and Delta sections. There are 152 meeting rooms which includes 92 breakout rooms.

Buses: Bus transportation in Nashville is provided by the Metropolitan Transit Authority and serves Nashville and Davidson County. Most bus routes connect with Music City Central downtown. Six universities are connected by the University Connector.
Trains: Currently the only passenger rail available is the Music City Star which connects the city of Lebanon to downtown Nashville. Other routes are currently being studied.
Other: Taxis are readily available in Nashville from six established companies with licensed cabs. Taxis are available at the airport and hotels or by calling one of the companies directly.

Entertainment and Sightseeing
Major Attractions: There's much to see in Nashville, from the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame to a cruise on the General Jackson riverboat. Visit Belle Meade Plantation, the Parthenon and the Ryman Auditorium the original and winter home of the Grand Ole Opry.
Major Entertainment: While there's no shortage of country music entertainment in Nashville from the Grand Ole Opry to the Country Music Hall of Fame, there are many other options for fine entertainment. The Tennessee Performing Arts Center houses the Tennessee Repertory Theatre, the Nashville Opera, the Music City Crum and Bugle Corps and the Nashville Ballet. Nashville is also the center for the contemporary Christian music.
Shopping in Nashville: Check out shopping opportunities in Nashville like Opry Mills with specialty shops and larger stores like Bass Pro Shops. There's also an IMAX Theatre. Bellevue Center offers upscale shopping in West Nashville. CoolSprings Galleria has over 165 stores and an impressive food court. Just east of Nashville are the Prime Outlets at Lebanon. Rivergate Mall offers 150 stores and multiple dining options.
Excursions from Nashville: While it would be next to impossible to see everything in Nashville in one visit, there are plenty of opportunities for outings nearby including Mammoth Cave National Park, Fall Creek Falls State Park and Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. For trips a little further out, check out Chattanooga or head to Memphis and Graceland.
Food & Beverages: Nashville is famous for music more than food, but as in any southern city you'll find the traditional fried chicken, sweet ice tea and soul food.
